Salesforce Pardot Integration for Custom object

There are some salesforce objects which are synced with Pardot object.

Lead, Contact -> Prospect

Account, Opportunities -> Related to Prospect

Campaign and Campaign Member -> Connected Campaign

User -> User

We can also connect some custom objects with Pardot depends on license:

Pardot Account with Advanced Edition - 4 Custom object

Pardot Account with Plus Edition - Pay extra cost and add the custom object


Custom Object sync with Pardot

Login to the Salesforce - Create a custom object in Salesforce with some fields. One custom field should have a lookup of contact/Lead.
Now Login to The Pardot - Create a custom object like this.

After that configure the fields which you want to use in Pardot.



There are some limitations with the custom object in Pardot:

  • Object sync takes maximum 10 minutes to sync with Pardot.
  • Custom object fields can't be used in the email fields at Pardot.
  • Pardot can read the data from the Salesforce custom object records but Pardot can't write value in the Salesforce record's fields ( for the custom object)
